We are pleased to announce our first exercise and fitness conference to be held at Sheffield Hallam University on Tuesday April 26th 2016.
We hope this will provide an opportunity for our learners and associates, past and present to get together for a night of education and networking.
As well as presentations by three highly qualified and experienced guest speakers, there will also be a number of fitness industry employers from the local area in attendance and some exclusive offers available for Envisage training programmes.
Dave Hembrough - Dave is lead strength and conditioning coach at Sheffield Hallam University. He has worked with many top level athletes, including the 2012 GB Olympic Women’s Volleyball team and England’s 2014 Commonwealth medallists in Table Tennis and Diving. Dave has also worked with a number of elite level Boxers, providing support to IBF Welterweight World Champion Kell Brook and Commonwealth Super-Bantamweight Champion Kid Galahad.
Matt Haines - Matt is a Senior Lecturer in Health and Wellbeing at the University of Huddersfield. He is a Chartered Scientist, a BASES Accredited Sport and Exercise Scientist (Physiology), a BASES Certified Exercise Practitioner (Obesity and Diabetes Specialist Instructor) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has also worked as a personal trainer and exercise referral specialist for clients with long-term health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer and currently works in collaboration with NHS and other health professionals on a specialist obesity service. In addition, he offers sport and exercise science support to a variety of individuals and professional sports including football, rugby league and cycling.
Keith Burnett - Keith is currently undertaking a Master of Science Degree in Sports Therapy at Leeds Beckett University specialising in Musculoskeletal Injury Therapies. He is a qualified Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist who has extensive experience of delivering Sports Massage Education programmes and of supporting athletes, and members of the public, from a wide variety of sports and performance levels. He provides a comprehensive service which includes an initial consultation, injury assessment, flexibility assessments and postural Analysis. Keith also works as a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Sciences; teaching Sports Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Sport Psychology and Strength & Conditioning with Rehabilitation.

This is a free event but we are asking that delegate’s make a donation, suggest £10.00, to our charity fund. Donations are at your discretion and will be collected at the event.
